Once our students have selected five universities they wish to attend, Student Visions counselors will contact and maintains an ongoing relationship with the minority affairs personnel on behalf of that student. Profiles designed specifically to provide minority affairs staff valuable information about the student are sent. The profiles are updated and sent out every three months. We also set up meetings and place phone calls to discuss with staff how the student can improve his or hers chances for admission with a college scholarship.
Each college’s minority affairs office maintains a comprehensive list of scholarships, grants, and, other aid and educational opportunities available to minority students. This process has its advantages since it helps keep our students at the forefront in the minds of minority affair’s personnel when they consider applicants for these opportunities.
