Dr. Rezabek is a native of the Midwest, Illinois and Iowa, but his love for mountains and the ocean drew him to the Northwest in 2005. Roger has over 30 years of educational experience ranging from teaching at the secondary and college levels to instructional design, broadcasting, and college administration. He also worked for ESD’s in Iowa for over 15 yrs, and was Director of Distance Learning at Hawkeye Community College for 11 years. He was awarded the degree Doctor of Education at the University of Northern Iowa in 1999 in Educational Leadership and Postsecondary Education.
He has been active in professional organizations, including Board and leadership postitions for many years and has presented on numerous topics at national conventions and state conferences. He has also served on several state task forces and commissions with the Department of Education in Iowa. He has published several works including, Online Focus Groups: Electronic discussions for Research (2000); Teleteaching Handbook (1988), which is available through ERIC on microfiche, and his Telecourse Guidebook for Students (1996), which is available on the internet at the Hawkeye Community College Web Site.
