I was born in Portland, Oregon and attended schools in Los Angles, CA; Beaverton, OR; Reedville, OR; Hillsboro, OR; Picayune, MS; and London, England. My BS and MS were obtained at Oregon State University in Animal Science. This was followed by a PhD from Clemson University in South Carolina in Nutrition, with a minor in Education.

Following one year of teaching at a University as a temporary instructor, I worked for the Oregon Zoo as a nutrition technician.

These activities reminded me of how much I loved teaching, and of the wonderful education I had obtained that I wanted to share with others. Somehow, I found Student Visions where I started to give back and share all of my wonderful experiences.
